As part of the actions to promote consumption and interest in Pisco, this important event was held in Belgium and surprised several of the participants.
Under the brand name Pisco, Spirit of Peru, Pisco Week was held in Belgium. As usual, this event was held to promote interest, information, and consumption of Pisco in that European country. For the occasion, the invitation was extended to the best bars in cities such as Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, and Liege, and the work with eight different Peruvian Pisco producers was reinforced.
The event lasted one week and included two promotional activities: the Pisco Night, aimed at the end consumer at the Brussels Bar Connector, and a Pisco Pairing night, with press and influencers specialized in cocktails and gastronomy, at Bar 1040 in Brussels.

The invited bars participated in the creation of a special cocktail and their creations surprised the audience. The most outstanding versions presented were the "champisco", with lemon and citrus flavors; the "Pisco prowler", with pineapple and citrus; the "Lima kiss", with floral and fruity tones; the "disco Pisco", with chocolate and raspberries; and the "Jones Pisco sour", a traditional recipe with lavender and honey.
A round-trip plane ticket to Lima was raffled among the attendees of the event, thanks to PROMPERÚ and Air Europa. The winner will have the opportunity to visit our country and the production areas of the famous distillate, and we know they will enjoy it very much! This activity is part of the institutional strategy to promote the internationalization of Pisco in the spirits category, especially in Europe and the United States.
These are some of the many actions being carried out to promote Pisco around the world. As in the Netherlands, and within the framework of Pisco Week Belgium, PROMPERÚ held the graduation of professionals who participated in the HORECA online course, launched in 2020 in Brussels, Pisco College Goes Online.
