Tangerine comes from tropical parts of Asia. It is believed that its name is due to the color of the suits used by the mandarins, rulers of ancient China. Its cultivation was introduced in Europe in century XIX.
From February to September.
Vitamin C present in tangerines is very good for the skin, when both consumed and applied topically on the skin. Regular consumption of tangerine’s juice makes the skin glow and improves tone greatly.
